Who am I

I’ve always been drawn to adventure—whether it’s snowboarding, surfing, hiking new trails, or spending the night stargazing under open skies. Living in the high desert was an easy choice for me because it puts me right in the middle of it all—just a short drive from the mountains, the coast, and the wide-open desert landscapes. When I’m not out exploring, you can usually find me hanging out with my three dogs, making the most of every moment outside.

I began my career as a Prevention Coordinator at a rape crisis center, where I worked to educate and empower communities in the fight against sexual violence. From there, I transitioned to working with foster youth, focusing on behavioral support and strengthening relationships between caregivers, biological parents, and the youth in care—ensuring that every voice was heard within their treatment teams. Now, in my current role, I oversee education and outreach efforts across San Bernardino County, providing reproductive health information to some of our most vulnerable populations. My passion has always been rooted in advocacy, education, and creating meaningful change for those who need it most.

In 2022, I ran for the Wrightwood CSD Board of Directors thinking that there was no way a small, conservative town would elect someone that looked, talked, and acted like me. I ran unopposed which means I was appointed and now I currently serve as the Vice President. This was the first time I ever even really thought about being involved in government but gave me a glimpse of what it feels like to lead with empathy and to truly represent the needs of the people.
