My Platform

For too long, career politicians and corporate elites have rigged the system to serve their own interests—while working people struggle to make ends meet. It’s time to change that. I’m running on a people over profit platform because our government should work for all of us, not just the wealthy and well-connected.

That means fighting for a living wage, affordable healthcare, strong unions, and a fair tax system that ensures billionaires and corporations pay their share. It means protecting our natural resources, taking real action on climate change, and investing in public infrastructure, education, and small businesses—not corporate subsidies and handouts. It means ensuring that every worker, every family, and every community has a fair shot at success—regardless of their background or bank account.

America’s strength comes from its people, not from Wall Street or corporate boardrooms. It’s time for leadership that puts working-class voices first and builds an economy that works for us—not just the ultra-rich.

Healthcare

Access to quality healthcare should not depend on wealth, employment, or zip code. I believe in a system where every American has access to comprehensive, affordable, and equitable healthcare—including mental health services, reproductive care, and prescription medications—without fear of medical debt.

We must work toward a universal, single-payer healthcare system that prioritizes people over profits, eliminates predatory insurance practices, and ensures that no one is forced to choose between life-saving care and financial stability. In the meantime, we must expand Medicare, strengthen protections for pre-existing conditions, lower prescription drug costs, and invest in preventive care and community-based health initiatives.

It’s time to put people first, hold big pharmaceutical and insurance companies accountable, and build a healthcare system that serves everyone—because no one should suffer or die due to lack of access to care.

Taxes

Our tax system should work for the people—not just the wealthy and powerful. For too long, billionaires and corporations have rigged the system to avoid paying their fair share, while working-class Americans shoulder the burden. It’s time to rebalance our economy by ensuring that the ultra-rich and large corporations contribute fairly to the country that helped them succeed.

I support closing tax loopholes that allow billionaires and corporations to dodge taxes, implementing a wealth tax on the richest Americans, and ensuring that working families and small businesses are not overburdened. We must invest these funds into healthcare, education, infrastructure, and social programs that uplift communities, not just corporate profits.

A just and equitable tax system strengthens our nation, fuels economic growth, and ensures that every American has a fair shot at success—not just those at the top.

Veterans

Our nation’s veterans have sacrificed to protect our freedoms, and it is our duty to ensure they receive the care, benefits, and opportunities they deserve when they return home. Too often, veterans face bureaucratic delays, inadequate healthcare, housing insecurity, and employment barriers. That is unacceptable.

I support fully funding and expanding the VA to provide comprehensive, high-quality healthcare—including mental health services, PTSD treatment, and reproductive care. We must streamline access to benefits, eliminate veteran homelessness, and create stronger job training and employment opportunities to ensure a smooth transition back into civilian life.

No veteran should struggle to access the care and support they’ve earned. Our commitment to them must extend beyond their service—we must fight for policies that uplift and honor them every step of the way.

Climate Crisis

I support strong environmental protections, responsible land and water management, and a just transition to renewable energy that reduces our reliance on fossil fuels. Climate change is already here, driving extreme weather, wildfires, droughts, and rising sea levels that disproportionately impact working-class and marginalized communities. We must hold polluting industries accountable, invest in green infrastructure, and ensure that frontline communities receive the resources they need to adapt and thrive.

A sustainable future requires bold action. That means protecting public lands, expanding clean energy jobs, strengthening environmental justice policies, and working toward a carbon-neutral economy. Climate change is not just an environmental issue—it’s a matter of economic security, public health, and global stability.

As someone who lives here to be close to the forest, the ocean, and the desert, I vow to make sure our public lands are fully funded. District 23 is home to Joshua Tree National Park, Mojave National Preserve, the San Bernardino National Forest, and the Angeles National Forest.

It is more important now than ever to ensure these areas are protected, fully staffed, and prepared for natural disasters. The Line Fire in September 2024 was devastating to many people and to the forests so many of us love. Now is the time to act. We need policies that put people and the planet before corporate greed, ensuring that future generations inherit a world that is livable, healthy, and sustainable.

Additionally, I support designating Chuckwalla National Monument as a National Park, recognizing its ecological and cultural significance and ensuring its long-term protection.

Jobs and Workforce

Every American deserves a good-paying job, safe working conditions, and the right to organize without fear. For too long, corporations and the wealthy have reaped record profits while workers struggle with stagnant wages, disappearing benefits, and rising costs of living. It’s time to put power back in the hands of the working class.

I support raising the minimum wage to a true living wage, strengthening unions, and ensuring workers have access to healthcare, paid leave, and retirement security. We must invest in good-paying, sustainable jobs by expanding infrastructure, clean energy, and manufacturing—securing a future where economic growth benefits all of us, not just the top 1%.

Additionally, we must end exploitative gig economy practices, close the gender and racial pay gap, and ensure workplace protections for all workers, including those in traditionally undervalued industries.

A strong economy is built from the bottom up, not the top down. It’s time to invest in people—not corporate profits.

Big Money Out of Politics

Our democracy should not be for sale. For too long, billionaires, corporate lobbyists, and special interests have drowned out the voices of everyday Americans—rigging the system in their favor while working people struggle to be heard. It’s time to put an end to big money in politics and restore power to the people.

I support overturning Citizens United, banning corporate PAC money, and implementing publicly funded elections to ensure politicians are accountable to voters—not wealthy donors. We must end the revolving door between Congress and corporate lobbying, strengthen campaign finance laws, and increase transparency so that dark money no longer influences our policies.

Elected officials should serve the people, not the highest bidder. It’s time to break the grip of corporate greed and return our government to those it was meant to serve—the working class, not the ruling class. I believe that the second you take corporate money, you no longer represent the needs of the people which is why I will NOT be accepting PAC donations.
