Week 2

This week, I met with someone from Joshua Tree who has come onboard as my Volunteer Coordinator. Anyone interested in volunteering for my campaign will be directed to Dave so that he can see where their skills will be most useful! I joined Women 4 Women live on TikTok on Tuesday to talk about my decision to run and how others can do what I am doing. The fundraising is the biggest hurdle at this point but I am working with folks to launch that in full force. I met with the person who ran in the last two election cycles against the incumbent to discuss the strategy with three qualified candidates running in this primary. I officially registered with the FEC and am now able to accept donations so please, as you are able, click the donate now link to donate to my campaign! Finally, I went to the registrar of voters for all three counties that are in CA-District 23 to get the precinct breakdown so that I am able to better plan my outreach efforts.
